Established in 1998, CHEMS disseminates
sexual reproductive health information and advice to young people
in Cambodia through interactive mass media broadcasts. Our multi-media,
youth-targeted campaigns feature on television, radio, in print and
within the performing arts.
CHEMS trains young people in sexual
reproductive health and media skills, along with advocacy and empowerment.
Through our outreach activities, young people work with government
to improve reproductive health care services and youth reproductive
rights
CHEMS is most well-known for the popular
radio program called "Especially for You, Young People"
and a health-focused radio soap opera called "Lotus on a Muddy
Lake".
